Blossom Birth Center

Blossom is a birth center that delivers a better birth experience. It empowers mothers by putting their needs at the center of the birth process, from prenatal through postnatal care.

Located in a historic college building in the University Heights neighborhood in San Diego, the design included ample natural light, biophilic elements, access to outdoor space, in-room tubs and climbing ladders. The result is a space intended to promote low-stress, low-intervention, physiologic birth, while also providing operating room when high-intervention procedures are needed.
